Strategic foresight for children aid in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEECIS region)

United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)

Ecorys Poland together with the partner ChildPact – Regional Coalition of child protection NGOs from the Wider Black Sea Area, is implementing a two-year framework contract aimed to provide analyses on social, political, economic, technological and cultural trends affecting children’s rights within the CEECIS region. The activities foreseen in the project cover 22 countries within the CECIS region.

Experts involved in the project analyze general trends, threats, risks and opportunities at global, regional and national levels, aimed at promoting, protecting and respecting the rights of children in the Central and Eastern Europe and its subregions - the Western Balkans, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

The project will support UNICEF specialists in dissemination of information and initiating public discussions on the prevailing trends, risks and opportunities for children's rights among politicians and civil society organisations active in the region.

Furthermore, our experts' role is to provide recommendations in the area of strategic prioritization and risk management for the UNICEF programmes.
